Vocational Skills Training: The Battle is in the Mind!
The primary objective of vocational training is to provide life skills for the socioeconomically challenged and underemployed society, while empowering participants to improve self-esteem and self-sufficiency. The first phase of the vocational training is the initial assessment for services. The second phase is the development of a work plan. A work plan is signed to aid the individual in the program with an outline of roles and responsibilities. An empowerment coach will be assigned to the client. The purpose of the coach is to provide the client with praise, support, and additional access to resources when needed. The final phase is the training. The participants will gain the skills and credentials needed to become employed. The key skill sets will aid individuals in areas that will allow them to become self-sufficient, self-employed, or micro-enterprise contract laborers.
